Project of reconstruction of the atrium house in Wrocław, PL
The project involves replacing the roof and raising the rooms of the ground floor, also complete reorganization of the interiors, glazing of all walls facing the patio, reconstruction of the vestibule along with new glazing at the front.
The main problem in the existing building was the very low height of the rooms (242 cm.)
Architects and clients decided to rebuild the roof by replacing the covering and removing the suspended ceiling, while it was decided to leave the existing structural concrete beams intact.
So far, these beams were enclosed with a suspended ceiling, after reconstruction they will be exposed, at the same time the height of the rooms will be significantly increased.
The photos in the gallery below show the interiors of the house during reconstruction and visualizations of the final state.
